A bit about me...

Thanks so much for visiting my page!

I am an interdisciplinary researcher who focuses on trying to improve the lives of front-line public safety personnel. I have a particular interest in understanding the impact of different types of occupationally-related stresses and and evidence-based best practices to ameliorate that stress.

I've come to this work from lived experiences: I have been active in the emergency medical services as an Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) since 1999, working with ALS and BLS services in Minnesota, Florida, and Michigan. I'm also a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the State of Minnesota.

My academic home is at the University of Windsor School of Social Work.

I am always interested in connecting with researchers and practitioners that share my interests. Please feel free to email me if you would like to visit further about stress and health in public safety personnel!
